The back wall is made stingy angle that provides convenience to stop foot and reduces the load on the hands.

Got the monstrik v1, perfect size imo, way lighter then expected. Mounted it very easily to a shovel or rake handle, solid very good quility, will last a lifetime

I bought the pelican v1 at first and it was too big and very heavy. I could see myself getting tired from it, especially with sand in it. Bought this one (monstrik), and it’s the perfect size.

Works really well, strong construction and materials. Works great in sand, a little bit tuff to use it in a gravely area. My only complaint is the angle of the handle needs to be less steep, but overall I am very pleased with the scoop. Well worth the money.

Great sand scoop for the beach it’s 28 ounces so it’s light weight , it digs into sand easily , the 10 mm holes dry sand just drains out most times without shaking , the curve back makes it easy on the foot to push the scoop in the sand , I can carry this scoop around all day with no problems. With a 9 inch lip it still digs deep .I like it. The tube for the handle is 4 inches deep about 1and 1/8 inch in diameter a rake handle from the hardware stores is 1 1/4 inch I shaved 1/8 inches off it fit perfect

Great scoop for the sand it digs deep 9 inches of sand scoop will dig . The sand just drains out very little shaking for dry sand .Scoop weighs 28 ounces so it’s a light scoop the tube for handle is 4 inches deep a rake handle from a hardware store is 1 1/4 inches diameter and the scoop is 1 1/8 inches diameter so shave 1/8 inch off it fits fine, I can carry this scoop around all day without my arm hurting

This is my first metal scoop, previously owned a plastic, hand version , cheap of course, and this is night and day.
It is light and strong, used mainly in dry sand and is amazing, very easy to retrieve tarjets, think the Monstrick v1 is the right size for those just starting like, there another smaller version but glad i chosed this one.

The construction of the Monstrik V1 is perfect. The welds are all extremely good and the edge was sharpened like a knife blade and will cut through the sand with ease. This is much lighter than I had expected which is great. I’m just using it for the dry beach so no need for something to be too heavy and thick. Love the size. Exactly what I was hoping for. I’d buy another Coob Scoop without any hesitation and plan on it if I leave the dry sand beach. Great product with fast shipping.

The Monstrik v1 is a well made mid-size stainless steel scoop. It has everything I look for in a sand scoop. Welds are clean and sanded and no errant welds in pole/handle opening. Scoop is heavy duty for its size. Scoop Weighs 1lb.-11.5 oz. The Monstrik v1 is lighter than the larger scoops.
Opening for handle is approximately 1-3/16” ID. You will need a size 8 x 1” stainless steel pan head sheet metal screw for fastening the handle. Scoop lip is very sharp so be careful. Perfect sand scoop.

Just got my scoop about a week ago. I previously had a hand scoop (which I hated) and a good shovel, which was great for rocky beaches where I live. But I could never hunt near the waters edge or in the water. Now I can !!! Scoop was smaller than I had pictured it, even with the measurements provided, my issue not Coob’s. BUT, I am so happy it is the size it is otherwise I would only be able to hunt in wet sand for about an hour with a bigger scoop. As some have mentioned before, I think this is the perfect sized scoop, nice and light and great design and perfect workmanship and quality. Love this scoop and would highly recommend.
