In this Model We Used Hexahedron Holes!
For the production of Hexagonal holes we used a German Punching Machine Trumpf, Trumatic 500R-1300 CNC
All other elements of sсoop, including welding, polishing – HandMade Work and Performed at a HIGH LEVEL by OUR TEAM (COOB WorkShop)
The back wall is made stingy angle that provides convenience to stop foot and reduces the load on the hands.
Improved fixation of top tube and add additional stiffening rib to make scoop even more stronger and rigid.
Made of anti-corrosion stainless steel of 1.5 mm
Has smallest Hexahedron Holes (7mm). Best for small ancient coins and finest jewelry

TOP HOLE ~ approx 1.2 inch / 30.5mm (Due handmade work internal diameter can vary within 1.2-1.225 inch /30.5-31.1mm). We strongly recomend use with this model our Poles by CooB or other poles with Diameter ~1.2 inch. Also you can use additionally electrical tape as sealing layer on your poles.

Overall a good product for the money, however i am noticing rust on the welded areas as well unfinished welded joints on the posterior of the supports for the handle bracket. The scoop feels rugged and substantial the hexagonal holes allow sand to easily sift through the scoop. The scoop takes a good bite of the sand allowing for ease of finding deep targets especially in the water. Weight is okay, but is expected for a such a beefy scoop. My only concern is the impurities that were present when welding the scoop leading to light rust on the welded areas even after thorough washing as well as the unsupported weld joints.

I have no experience with sand scoops so I can’t compare this CooB scoop to any other but the few times I used it it performed flawlessly. I was concerned that for the price it may flex under heavy load but there was no flexing at all.
